The Transmitter (child's pendant) is shaped like a cartoon character which can be worn necklace style or attached to the child's clothing.  The receiver is carried by the guardian or parent.  If the child ventures off beyond the preset distance, the receiver emits a loud beeping sound.  Each system has different codes/frequencies, which allow 2 or more children to be monitored at the same time in the same general area.
